Daniel Meadows: Early Photographs
Between 1971 and 1987 Daniel Meadows produced an astonishing record of urban society in Britain, working in a uniquely collaborative way through his photography, interviews with – and writing about – his subjects. This exhibition encompasses Meadows’ major projects, from the June Street series made with Martin Parr to his legendary Photographic Omnibus, as well as recently discovered work from his archives. The exhibition is produced in association with the Photography & Archive Research Centre and accompanied by a book, published by Photoworks. It was curated by Val Williams.
